Travel Consent PortalMinistry of Health

About the portal

The Ministry of Health Travel Consent Management System replaces paper-based travel approval with one tracked workflow.

Why it exists

Official travel needs consent before staff leave and accountability when they return. Paper forms get lost, signatures take days, and nobody can easily see who is abroad.

The portal gives officers, directors and the Permanent Secretary a shared record of every request, from submission to final report.

What it does

Officers submit a request with destination, dates and purpose. It moves to their Director for endorsement, then to the Permanent Secretary for a decision. Approved trips receive a certificate, and the officer confirms return and files a report to close the trip.

How a request moves

Seven stages, each with a named owner.

1
Officer submits
2
Director endorses
3
PS decision
4
Certificate
5

6
Return
7
Report / Close
